Brother Michael Taylor CBE
Michael Taylor assumes Presidency of the OA Society from Field Marshal The Lord Vincent on 14th April 2003. He was a member of School House (Evens) from 1956 to 1961, before entering the Army and attending RMA Sandhurst. He was commissioned into the Royal Corps of Signals in 1963. Michael is a graduate of the Army Staff College, Camberley, and the Royal College of Defence Studies, London. He was made an MBE in the 1982 Falklands Campaign and a CBE in the 1998 New Year Honours List, prior to retiring as a Brigadier. He is now Managing Director of his own consultancy company, a Lay Member of the Immigration Appeal Tribunal and a Member of the Solicitors' Disciplinary Tribunal. He is also Chairman of the Dorset Police Authority. Michael is married, lives at : ORCHARD HOUSE, LEIGH, SHERBORNE, DORSET, DT9 6HL, and has a son and daughter, both of whom attended Aldenham.
