OF THE YEAR FOR
THE JOINT AWARD GOES TO
Chief Constable James Vaughan & Tim Whittle
The Chief Constable's Office needs to clean out its closet and deploy some disinfectant spray, especially in relation to the Join Heads of his professional standards department. Both of them were serving superintendents in that department and upon retiring from Dorset Police came back to get their thirty pieces of silver and continue to cover up police misconduct.
Tim Whittle was last featured on Plod of the year in 2010, where he was telling lies then!
Chief Constable Vaughn received an email from Roger West, a former councillor that is making criminal allegations of misconduct within the council. Vaughn is fully aware of this and the substance of those allegations, and referred it to Whittle to dispose of them, rather than appointing an officer to investigate serious allegations of corruption and misconduct.
